Met het langverwachte 'Book Of Souls' album dat deze herfst uit zou moeten komen is het moeilijk aan de Chiefs voorbij te gaan tijdens hun Europese tour. De meesterlijke muziek van Secret Chiefs 3 laat zich het best omschrijven als een cross-over van vele uiteenlopende muziekstijlen; adaptaties van inheemse muziek uit het Midden-Oosten, surf, Griekse rembetika, metal en (film)muziek componisten als Rahul Dev Burman, Ananda Shankar en Ernest Gold.

SC3 neemt deze tour het Britse a.P.A.t.T op sleeptouw. Net als SC3 is deze band uit Bristol ook niet voor een gat te vangen. Deconstructies van westerse popmuziek of Zappasque pastiche met een omweg via Cardiacs en Mr. Bungle.
