en zondag vind ik dat leng tche wel erg laat speelt, mischien die tribute avond meepikken

Zo, dát was gaaf gisteravond.
Powerslave viel op door de zanger die echt een magistraal krachtige stem heeft en natuurlijk het materiaal dat met grote accuratesse werd gebracht. Ook vond ik het op z'n minst gewaagd om "Bring your daughter to the slaughter" te spelen en niets van SiT en SSoaSS, maargoed, dat is slechts mijn smaak.
Sanitarium vond ik niet slecht, maar ik vond de zanger maar matig. Wel thumbs up voor het lef Fuel en Of wolf and man te spelen!
Maiden United was een heel aparte belevenis. 4 mannen op ouderwetse stoelen, enkel akoestisch en een intieme sfeer bij kaarslicht. Ik had niet gedacht dat het zo goed zou uitpakken. De setlist was fantastisch mooi:
Children of the damned
Public enema number one
Prodigal son
Wasted years
Infinite dreams
To tame a land
Journeyman
En ik ben vast nog wat vergeten. Ik was Maiden al een poos behoorlijk beu, maar dit heeft het weer getriggerd. Erg origineel en pakkend concept, aparte ervaring!
De complimenten aan Emillio voor deze gewaagde keuze! Jammer van het lage aantal betalende bezoekers, dit was echt zwaar de moeite.
