Vandaag gekocht nadat ik alleen maar overweldigende reviews had gelezen (niks onder de 9/10) en potver wat een fantastische cd. Alles wat symfo/progrock/metal zo goed maakt zijn verenigd op Posthumous Silence. Een uitstekend uitgewerkt conceptalbum (wat overigens wel een aantal raakvlakken heeft met Marillion's Brave) en de muziek is om van te watertanden. Bijzonder gedetailleerde symfonische stukken, engelen zang (zelfs met rapende stukken), sporadisch subtiele maatwisselingen zonder dat het gefreak word en bizar mooie solo's. Ja ik ben enthousiast. Nee eigelijk niet, ik ben zéér enthousiast. Ik was al helemaal blij met de nieuwe Wolverine en Vanden Plas maar die vallen in het niets bij Posthumous Silence.
Voor de liefhebbers van Marillion, Queensryche, IQ, Vanden Plas, Abydos en Pain of Salvation een absolute must have
