Started back in 1998, (V.E.G.A.) is rather unknown entity coming out from Italy which recorded an album titled "Cocaine" in 2002. First released in an edition of 333 12" LP by the Italian label "Legioni dell' Arcangelo", it is now made available in a limited Digipack CD (with different cover) and an unlimited jewel box version. Enough said as introduction... what is it to get in this "Cocaine" ?
Many are those fooled by this explicit title, thinking this album is an ode to the "white powder".. whereas it is not. "Cocaine" is pure mental sickness... an unconscious travel into your own self.
Fast & furious drumming, insane guitar riffs accompanied by a thundering bass, screamed out vocals ranging from totally sick to more mesmerized "stoned" voice... each new song is another strike into your brain. Musically close to "Black Metal", it would be yet a mistake to stick (V.E.G.A.) to that kind since their influences are many.
Fast Psychotik & Eerie Musick... a wise mixture of Extreme Metal with an "Electronic" touch in their sound.
Addictive... once you'll enter the Vaccum Era Gelid Atmosphere, it won't be easy to return into your conscious reality.
No need to get yourself a new needle, inject "Cocaine" and feed your own insanity....
