The VENOMOUS CONCEPT limited picture disc LP is nearing the final stages of the painstakingly slow production process, but all good things come to those who wait. These 333 copies will be available through our own mailorder, besides a number of copies that will be available through the band directly, so keep an eye out as we will not be taking pre-orders. For those with limited brain capacities: VC is the hardcore punk project of Kevin Sharp (Brutal Truth), Danny Herera and Shane Embury (Napalm Death) and King Buzzo (Melvins). A sweet poster bag, liner notes and an exclusive bonus track are the frosting on this cake. Nuff Said.

In the meantime, AMENRA are in the pre-production phase at the moment, with a new record expected somewhere 2007. They'll be playing a selected number of shows prior to the release, including a short German stint and the annual Roadburn festival in the Netherlands.

Also we'd like to welcome Belgium 's gore/grind/death metal pride ABORTED to the family. Our newly baptized imprint label Hollowman will be handling the vinyl duties of their newest record "Slaughter & Apparatus: A Methodical Overture", with a release date expected early March. Limited colour vinyl only available through the Hypertension/Hollowman webstore. We also have a select number of copies of ABORTED's "The Archaic Abattoir" available on vinyl in our store.

More Hollowman news, as the new BORN FROM PAIN vinyl for "War" is expected to arrive within this and two weeks. The newest effort "War" is a devastating blow built on murderous grooving and fast paced riffs and heaviness, killer breakdowns and a pinch of melody. A limited number of coloured vinyl is available for both BFP releases.

Our good friends over at Candlelight will be releasing a 2xCD combining STARKWEATHER's earlier efforts "Into The Wire" and "Crossbearer" plus lots of bonus material from compilations, 7"s, etc. The reissue will surface late January so keep your eyes peeled.
