Chainsaw Biography
The band started in the summer of 1996 as 'Abominations' which was later changed to Chainsaw. From the start the band was plagued by numerous disasters. Including a schizoprenic drummer who suddenly dissappeared. The electrocution of Magnus and the carcrash he was in the same day, the collapsed longue of Don who was subject to desastrous surgery and Yanni's hand that was smashed in combat with a concrete wall.
In 2002 the curse was finally lifted. After a succesfull 'Tropical Storm Tour' through Bonaire and the release of their single : 'Chainsaw is the Law'and very positive reviews of this in various magazines. Chainsaw has signed with the Japanese label : 'World Chaos Production' for their full album : 'Smell the Saw' in 2003 and was released in 2004. Currently the band is playing lot's of gigs and working on videoclip, DVD and of course the next album.
Chainsaw plays old school Heavy metal/Thrash 'n Roll.
Context Biography
Context is opgericht in April 2006, een nieuwe band uit het zuiden van Nederland, met als doel veel spelen, en de sfeer van de jaren 80/90 laten herleven.
De muziek laat zich het beste omschrijven als jaren 80 metal, met ruige vocalen. Invloeden zijn oa. Celtic Frost, Carcass, Iced Earth, oude Metallica, Venom, Iron Maiden en Dismember, maar ook moderne invloeden als In Flames worden niet geschuwd.
Context bestaat uit een drummer, een bassist, 2 gitaristen en een zanger. In de eerste helft van dit jaar zal een demo opgenomen gaan worden
Er is al wat live ervaring opgedaan met deze band, er is oa. geopend voor Carach Angren, Soulnerve en Xenomorph.
