Finally, 25 years after Michael Jackson's legendary "Thriller", a music video comes along that will defy your preconceived notions of what a music video can or should be, while at the same time pushing the boundaries of good taste. Pushing them way, way too far.
Having spent half their childhood watching horror movies, Edgar, Elmer and Joe-Bob Tyfus felt the need to pay tribute to the most outstanding of them all: ‘The Incredible melting man’. In this soul-searching piece of classic cinema by William Sachs, which deals with the tragic transformation of a promising astronaut into a walking pile of melting gore, the viewer gradually develops a new view on the true meaning of life.
It has been a 25 year wait, but this video finally lives up to the challenge put to us by Michael Jackson.
