Heb me vandaag Defending The Throne Of Evil aangeschaft. Wat een geniale plaat is dit. Catchy, maar toch typische ijskoude Noorse BM, doorspekt met keyboards die niet overdreven prominent aanwezig zijn. Voor mij 1 van de beste Noorse BM-platen van de laatste jaren.

Fuck You All!!!! is veel beter!!!!

Toevallig zit ik net Strange Old Brew te luisteren. Dit nummer bevat
ook sterke nummers zoals Suicide Song en Return of the Freezing Winds. Verder het nummer He's Turning Blue maar die staat er bij mij op als bonustrack. Ik weet dus niet of ieder die heeft. Verder geeft de saxofoon in House of the Wipcord inderdaad wel een macaber sfeertje.

Persoonlijk vind ik Fuck You All!!! (gave verpakking trouwens) wat gaver dan Defending....Fuck You All!!! is wat smeriger en daar hou ik wel als het Carpathian betreft.

Carpathian Forest - Working On New Material, Tour Plans

As posted by the band on their MySpace:

"Carpathian Forest havent played live since 2006 but its now official that Carpathian Forest will do a few selected live shows in 2009 (one of them being the Inferno Festival in Norway). The band is busy writing the follow up album to "Fuck You All!!!!" and since the band is not promoting a new album when doing these shows, the band will focus on old classics, many of which have never been played live before! Watch out for announcements of live shows near you! The shows will include guest musicians a new set list, and a new stage setting."

According to Blabbermouth sources, in addition, the live performances will be filmed for a possible Carpathian Forest DVD release.

Zozo, het was al veel te lang stil rond Nattefrost en de zijnen. Goed nieuws !

CARPATHIAN FOREST Guitarist TCHORT Quits

Guitarist Tchort has announced his departure from the Norwegian black metal band CARPATHIAN FOREST. He says in a statement, "It's been more than 10 years with perversion and provocation and I have seen, heard and done shit I didn't even know existed and the past decade has been like a rollercoaster from hell! And since I got too addicted to this shit, I can also announce that I am starting a brand new band and I can't wait to see unexplored depths of hell with the new stuff. I am confident that I will find a killer lineup and be back to fuck you up! My deepest respect and grattitude goes to Nattefrost for letting me into his personal hell and keeping me there for a decade!"

CARPATHIAN FOREST performed at this year's Inferno festival, which was held April 8-11, 2009 in Oslo. Fan-filmed video footage of the cocnert can be viewed below.

The band is busy writing the follow-up album to "Fuck You All!!!!" and is currently negotiating with various record labels.

"Fuck You All!!!!" entered the Norwegian album chart at position No. 25. The band has since ended its collaboration with France's Season of Mist Records.
