After our first video 'Europa Europae' - http://www. youtube. com/watch?v=F1MYyiqMs-A we are planning to create another one.

This time we would like to have your images/impressions/photos.

If you have photos/images that resemble for you the feeling of Europa and you want them included in the video, please email them with subject "Video" to impressions@blazing.ws
Photos must be:
* good quality
* no people
* no war images or whatsoever
* only Indo-European countries
* no industry/modern architecture So photos/images regarding landscapes, buildings, feelings, the Past.

If you send photos/images it does not mean per se we'll process them, it depends on the amount of photos, video, feeling with the music and so on.


Second:
Our frontpage (www. blazing. ws) has become static/standard, we used to put photos on it, but we ran out of good photos to use as front image.

If you have a good photo and want to have it put on our frontpage, with the same requirements as for the video, please email it/them with subject "Frontpage" to impressions@blazing.ws
If you want we can write your name on the photo.
Our logo will be on the photo/image.

This little book tries to tell the story of the religious life of the Romans from the time when their history begins for us until the close of the reign of Augustus. Each of its five essays deals with a distinct period and is in a sense complete in itself; but the dramatic development inherent in the whole forbids their separation save as acts or chapters. In spite of modern interest in the study of religion, Roman religion has been in general relegated to specialists in ancient history and classics. This is not surprising for Roman religion is not prepossessing in appearance, but though it is at first sight incomparably less attractive than Greek religion, it is, if properly understood, fully as interesting, nay, even more so.

After a long period of discredit and neglect, astrology is beginning to force itself once more on the attention of the learned world. Greek manuscripts, which had remained a sealed book at a time when the quest for unpublished documents is all the rage, have now been laboriously examined, and the wealth of this literature has exceeded all expectation. On the other hand, the deciphering of the cuneiform tablets has given access to the wellsprings of a learned superstition, which up to modern times has exercised over Asia and Europe a wider dominion than any religion has ever achieved. I trust, therefore, that I am not guilty of undue presumption in venturing to claim your interest for this erroneous belief, so long universally accepted, which exercised an endless influence on the creeds and the ideas of the most diverse peoples, and which for that very reason necessarily demands the attention of historians.
