NEIL TURBIN'S DEATHRIDERS; the fast and furious California metallers featuring Neil Turbin, the first powerhouse vocalist of Thrash (Thrash Metal Big Four; Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer, Megadeth) and original lead singer of east coast thrash pioneers Anthrax. Neil Turbin is a key songwriter and major contributor wrote all the lyrics and provided the main concepts to such well known metal anthems such as: "Metal Thrashing Mad", "Armed and Dangerous", "Deathrider" and "Gung Ho", which were on Anthrax's first three releases and many subsequent live and greatest hits albums.
Z.O.D.. ('Zittesje OnDeug') is an S.O.D. (Stormtroopers Of Death) tribute band which was formed way back in 1996 by Marcel 'Benante' Coenen to be a fun project for the annual BUDT-bal(l) event at the Azijnfabriek in Roermond (Limburg, NL). This fun was quite succesful and lead to 2 additional shows and then all members decided that it was enough. In 2006 Z.O.D. was reborn with a new drummer (Robert) and guitar player (Bas, MORNING). In 2007 they recorded their promo KILL YOURSELF which was distributed in 2008. At the end of 2010, after 4 years of many shows, Robert and Bas (for different reasons) left the band and Bart (ex GAIL OF GOD) and Casper (ex TIMES HAVE CHANGED, ex DEATHFALL) filled in these gaps. Z.O.D. has faced several line-up changes but both, singer (Jupke) and bass player (Jo) from day one still join this band. Allthough fun is considered to be the main reason this band exists, they've allready proven to be very succesful and played with several mayor bands. Most famous musician they've shared the stage with, is no-one less than "the Beast" himself, listening to the name Paul Di'Anno (ex Iron maiden) in Maasmechelen (Limburg, Belgium)
