Your Highness hails from the ports of Antwerp. These regal Belgians emerged from a punk-hc scene with a huge DIY-spirit, which shaped the band's character to what it is today. In 2009, they recorded a 3-song demo at Studio 195. One year later, they dropped a hammer called "Cults 'n' Cunts", a full cd/lp recorded and mixed by Epic productions and mastered at New Alliance East. These royal tunes got released with the help of Hammerheart records and received great reviews all over the world. Testimony to this statement was the willingness of both Doomstar bookings and Ruffstuff bookings to work with the band. Your Highness played tons of shows in Belgium, UK, Netherlands, France and Spain with the likes of Acid King, Saviours, Fucked Up, Today is the day, Weedeater, Diablo Blvd, Drums are for Parades and many more … Just recently, Antwerps finest stonerband unleashed "Blue Devils", their new EP, recorded once again with Epic productions and mastered at New Alliance East. Released as a free Digital Ep and 10" LP.

Hailing from the depths of the Tilburg (NL) underground (home of Roadburn and ZXZW), Izah takes elements of metal, hardcore, noise and post-rock and blends these into a dark and melancholic mix of heavy riffing, dynamic sound layering and chaotic drumbattering. With a sound somewhere in between that of bands like Cult of Luna, Converge, Kruger, Mono and Shora, Izah is ready to storm the planet's barriers.
After a long search for suitable bandmembers, founders Van Oosterhout (guitar) and Entius (vocals) found kindred spirits in Van Wegberg (drums), Bastiaansen (guitar) and Van der Weerd (bass) in 2006. Armed with black hearts, broken livers and a bad case of musicofilia, the band started working on their sound, which was to encompass a broad range of musical styles and atmospheres, capturing what making music is truly about to the band: spilling their guts through creative ideas. A set was written and in late 2008 the band released their self-produced two song EP, Finite Horizon/Crevice, which they made available for free on their website. Shortly after this, bassist Van der Weerd left the band and was replaced by Terhorst. The band was completed with the addition of De Jong (synth/guitar) in January 2009.

Inspired by mythology, the paranormal and classic sci-fi, I Saw The Deep identifies itself by crafting cryptic, almost cinematic story lines into monolithic pillars of sound. Initially intended as a solo project, all production is done by vocalist/ multi-instrumentalist Darrell Laclé. Born and raised on the Caribbean island Aruba -now based in the Netherlands- Darrell absorbs the darker side of the ocean and its mysticism in his compositions. Though ever evolving, this artist knows what he wants to portray through his music. Influences like The Mars Volta, Tool, The Tea Party, Led Zeppelin and Mastodon reflect mostly in the fact that -not unlike I Saw The Deep- all these groups before mentioned walk their own unique tenacious path, exploring the boundaries of the heavy rock genre.
I Saw The Deep manifests itself live in the form of a power trio, recruiting different musicians and friends whenever the timing and schedules align. Additionally, singer-songwriter Darrell Laclé also endeavors on solo acoustic tours, presenting a heavy, yet stripped down, atmospheric interpretation of I Saw The Deep. To test out the material in its most stripped down version, Darrell embarked on an independent acoustic solo tour, starting out with a couple of local shows in the Netherlands before flying overseas to Canada for couple of showcases at the Indie Week Toronto Festival 2011 where he received encouraging positive feedback from the industry judging panels. Immediately this was followed by a small UK tour, after which he traveled to the Caribbean to close the tour in good fashion on his former home island. This experience is summed up in his own words: “If your compositions can stand on their own like that, pretty much anything else becomes possible..”

A GIANT A GENIUS is een rockband uit Noord Brabant. Alle vier de bandleden komen uit zeer diverse heavy bands zoals oa. Nihao en Kill.Caress. Alhoewel verwoed op zoek naar meer ingetogen muziek blijft de behoefte voor de riff nog steeds hoorbaar.
Hun invloeden omvatten oa. stoner rock, metal, hardcore, post rock, indie, etc. Hoewel al deze invloeden aanwezig zijn in hun muziek, is er geen een die bij hun unieke, hypnotiserende en gelaagde geluid de boventoon voert.
In 2009 begonnen ze hun eerste nummers te schrijven al vlug gevolgd door de eerste shows in Nederland en Belgie in 2010. In 2011 werd het eerste werk opgenomen, deze tracks zijn te downloaden op http://agiantagenius.bandcamp.com/. Deze opnames zullen eind dit jaar ook uitgebracht worden op een 7” EP in eigen beheer. De grote diversiteit aan muziekale invloeden, zeer ruime ervaring op vele podia in binnen en buitenland, en een ongekend enthousiasme zal A GIANT A GENIUS een breed publiek zeker kunnen aanspreken.
