Amsterdam Metalfest 24/10 met o.a. Aborted @ Melkweg

We proudly announce that Aborted will be headlining this year's bill. Amsterdam's very own SEITA will be present too, along with Venezuelan veterans Cultura Tres, local heroes MagnaCult, a reunited Ethereal, our old friends Red Eyes and young talents Hillsphere.
All this metal goodness will be delivered on the 24th of October, in one of Amsterdam's coolest venues; the Melkweg. Of course there will be an afterparty in our beloved Rockclub The Cave, where the night will be closed by The Scalding and Dystopia. Tickets will be 15 euros in presale. Free entrance to the afterparty when the festival stamp/ticket is presented.
When words leave off, music begins. And there's no genre that has a following as dedicated as metal. Amsterdam Metalfest is here to support Dutch metal talent, and to create a place where metal fans can come together, celebrate, and network. By metal fans, for metal fans.

On Saturday October 24th the fourth edition of Amsterdam Metalfest will be upon us. Nine bands will play during the entire evening, with an afterparty until the wee hours in Rockclub the Cave to end the night in style.

We are stoked, eager, and very proud to announce that Aborted will be the headliner of the coming edition of Amsterdam Metalfest, which will take place on October 24th in the Melkweg. This Belgian/Dutch/American abomination will most definitely put us all on the extirpation agenda with their delightful death metal.

They will be joined by SEITA, one of Amsterdam's finest representations when it comes to metal. Their brutal mix of death and thrash will once again rock the Melkweg to its foundation.

We proudly welcome Cultura Tres to our bill. Veterans in the scene, they produce a groovy slab of doom/sludge metal. You're in for a treat.

MagnaCult is definitely not new to Amsterdam Metalfest, but they earn their place like none other. They have been Amsterdam's metal ambassadors by supporting many huge bands, both in the Netherlands and abroad.

Melodic death metallers Ethereal are back with a vengeance. They are currently promoting their new record Pendular, and will also pay a visit to Amsterdam on October 24th.

Red Eyes doesn't need much of an introduction. These guys have been no strangers to our beloved festival, and this time too they will rock your socks off with heavy metal.

Hillsphere represents the newer generation of metal musicians. These eager beavers are young, but skilled nonetheless. They will be opening the night with their spacey, progressive music.
