Omdat ik in dat krantje van op de trein iets las over hun dat ze na die DVD opname opgepakt werden
maar ik kijk op hun website en staat nx van arrestatie naar ik kan lezen

"Norwegian black metallers GORGOROTH are major news in Poland, where staged a special concert that made Janet Jackson's breast-baring look like nursery school antics and left Catholic Poland outraged. A spokesperson for the public prosecutor in Krakow, southern Poland, said on Wednesday (Feb. 4) that they might ask for Norwegian help in questioning members of the black metal groupGORGOROTH in order to determine whether Article 196 of the Polish penal code (concerning offense to religious feelings) has been breached or not during the band's concert in Krakow last Sunday (Feb. 1). The maximum penalty for breaching the article is five years in prison.

The group, who are accused of having offended religious feelings by displaying naked women, covered in blood and being crucified, also displayed sheep heads, severed and impaled, with the stage splashed with their blood.

We are also looking into whether the law on protection of animals has been breached," the spokesperson, Miroslawa Kalinowska-Zajdak, said.

Kalinowska-Zajdak said the prosecutor was following up a complaint from the head of a local television station who rented a TV studio to GORGOROTH for the concert, recorded for a DVD. "

Haha, ik las net ff wat ziekelijks in de Rock Tribune van maart (deze maand dus)

Gorgoroth trad op in Polen. Daar zijn ze opgepakt omdat ze volgens de overheid te antichrist waren tijdens een optreden. Ik noem: schapenkoppen op het podium, naakte vrouwen met zakken over het hoofd die aan een kruis gehangen werden (een werd afgevoerd omdat ze drie keer was flauwgevallen), 80 tot 100 liter schapenbloed...ziekelijk dus.

Polen twijfelt erover om Gorgoroth over te leveren aan Noorwegen. Overigens is zanger Gaahl daar geen onbekende, vanwege een vechtpartij met een 40 jarige man. Ze kunnen een maximale straf krijgen van 5 jaar.

Klopt, die duurt slechts 25 minuten ofzo he? Kwalitatief hoogstaande minuten wel in elk geval.

Pentagram duurt ook 29:20 volgens de timer van m'n stereo, ook niet echt lang.

Gorgoroth - New Drummer Is Frost

From the official Gorgoroth website:

Kvitrafn leaves... new drummer is Frost!

Kvitrafn has decided to leave Gorgoroth of personal reasons. Good news is that Frost (1349, Satyricon) has agreed to be the new drummer. He will start working together with Gorgoroth in the beginning of May, when the band starts an intensive rehearsing period with main focus on a new recording. This means that there will be less or no live activity in the following months...

Cooperation with Nuclear Blast ended

Gorgoroth are relieved to inform that their cooperation with the German label Nuclear Blast is now ended. They have already received a good offer from another label, but nothing is signed yet. Check back later for more news about this matter.

The trial against Gaahl will start on Tuesday 27th of April at 09:00 AM and will take place in Sunnfjord tingrett in Førde (Sal 1).
He is accused of performing satanic rituals and torture lasting for several hours on the "victim". As the local community already have prejudged him, it seems that trial won't be much fair. Gaahl risk a 9 years sentence if he get condemned. The press are welcome to be there and cover the case...

Zoiets ja, maar de plaat is er niet minder om.
Ik vind bijna alle Gorgoroth releases wel gaaf, ongeacht de soms korte speeltijd.
Het zou jammer zijn als Gaahl een tijd inactief wordt door een eventuele gevangenisstraf of iets dergelijks.
