Hello everybody!

Finally we here send you some latest news and future events about Latvian pagan/folk/black metal band SKYFORGER. Sorry about delay, it took long time to get things sorted out. [1] First news are that Skyforger had some line-up changes within this summer. Guitarist Rihard who was in band since 1996, decided to quit band because he could not join band and work/family commitments anymore. By his own words: " This has been fantastic time to be in Skyforger so long time, here I have had probably greatests moments of my life. A lot of work, power and dedication has been put into this band, but I feel that I need to take some choises of my life and underline priorities, no matter how hard is that for my heart."

Nevertheless, there are information that he will stay as active guitar player. We forward big hail to death dealer for 8 years guitar blistering for Skyforger!

Band instead decided to add two new members for crew and they are Motors (guitars) and Kaspars, who plays various folk instruments (bagpipes, pipes, kokle etc). With such line-up Skyforger has been playing already since June 2004.

[3] Skyforger will have new CD out on 3rd February of 2005 on FOLTER RECORDS (www.folter666.de) The name of CD is SEMIGALLS' WARCHANT. It will feature Skyforger's demo album (previously on tape, sold out years ago) Semigalls' Warchant 1997 (all tracks digitally remastered) and additional 4 new bonus tracks, recorded in December 2004. CD will also have new layout & previosly unseen photos from band's archives.

Folter Records also has released limited (to 500 copies) editions of first two albums of Skyforger: KAUJA PIE SAULES 1998 and LATVIAN RIFLEMEN 2000 on LP's for first time for vinyl freaks. All tracks has been of course remastered and Latvian Riflemen will feature also previously never before available bonus track from 1999 recording sessions: Brother Rides To The War.

[4] There are an idea to organize a small fanclub for Skyforger die-hards, so if you feel that you are dedicated fan and want to know more about band, you are welcome to send e-mail to: fanclub@skyforger.lv Please, write also some details about youself - name, age, gender, occupation, hobbies, email, contact address etc. You will be contacted later on your email.
