Oh, and you should really take a good listen to two young and seriously talented bands called Gnollengrom and Opgepijpt. They both make a very atmospheric combination of raw guitarpro Black Metal with some haunting ambient elements. Makes ol' Varg jealous!

I think I would suggest bands like Serenade of Darkness, Conquestador (heavy metal), Heidevolk (folkmetal), Hatred, Constant Paranoia (deathmetal) and In age and sadness (doom metal).
