SKARABEE is een 6-mans ska-crossover formatie uit Dordrecht met een rotterdamse zangeres.
Invloeden vanuit vele muziekstijlen, waaronder folk, punk, funk, jazz en metal, hebben geresulteerd in een strakke, meeslepende, vrolijke band.
Naast de instrumenten die we gewend zijn van een band, hebben zij hun unieke geluid vooral te danken aan een viool en een doedelzak.
Kortom: een goede en vernieuwende band.

In the mid-nineties, four blokes decided to form a band under the smog veil of Rotterdam, Punk capital of Holland. They played their Punk the old fashioned way, with a lot of spitting and cursing at anything that society thinks of as alright, which is not.
They done a lot of gigs in the Rotterdam area and expanded their territory throughout the Netherlands. Somewhere back in '98, the unfortunate (and probably rainy) day came the drummer left the band. Disturbance wasn't planning to give up, and sought out a new drummer. The drummer they found originated, as up to this day, from the Cenobites, a psycho Billy band from the Dutch underground scene.
Now Disturbance is a four-man formation consisting out of Rob (vocals) Dim (guitar) Joz (bass) and Kiel (drums), who still believe in the traditional values of punk, in a similar way the punks did at the end of the 70's in England. In 2001 Disturbance brought out their first EP “live on to decline” on Tocado records (www.tocado.com) that had air play on the Belgian radio Donna and the also Belgian Studio Brussel. The first press (Dutch market only / white vinyl) is sold out by now, as well is the second press (worldwide / brown vinyl)
In the not so distant future their will be brought out a Disturbance live tape, from the first 5 years of the Disturbance-existence. Locations played are very different, from Nighttown to the ‘Stubnitz' freight ship. In nightown Disturbance played a fair amount of the ‘Heel erg punk' festivals, which brought out 2 live cd's with among others Disturbance.
Since may 2003 the debut album ‘Malice in Slumberland' is out on Streetmusic Berlin (www.streetmusic.de) on vinyl and Cd with an accompanying tour trough eastern Germany (see dates section). Also look at the dates sections for the European tour we did the year before supporting Antidote. In the meanwhile two Compilation cd's were brought out by Aggressive Noise from Munich, where we played the Krusefix festival. Still much more plans ahead…

Arminius was founded in 1998 by Jasper Pol (bass), Fabian Haringa (drums) and Willem van Balen (guitar). Arminius' first songs were a mixture of Death Metal and early Black Metal. In 2000 Jasper and Fabian left the band and were replaced by Walter de Groot (guitar) and Lex v/d Heuvel (drums). The songs became much faster, more aggressive and more complex. Some time later Henk v/d Berg joined Arminius to blast along with us on his Bass-guitar and Michael Philippo decided to rain terror with his vocals. Since April this year we've found a new singer in Ben de Graaff to reign new terror!
Arminius now plays total and destructive terror deathmetal.
